Giorgos Konstantinou
Born in Athens in 1978.
Studied the piano with the Russian pianist Alexei Miroshnikoff. In 1995 graduated from the National Conservatory of Athens with the supreme distinction. Won the First Prize in the X.O.N National Piano Competition.
Went to Budapest to continue studying in the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music and received the Masters in Performance and Pedagogy with honors. His tutors were Gyorgy Nador, Retyi Balazs and Ferenc Rados.Won the Second Prize in the Regio Callabria International Piano Competition.
Has given a great amount of performances in cities including Budapest, Prague, Bucharest, Timisoara, Tirana, Kiev, St. Petersburg, Rome, Venice, Oxford, London collaborating with orchestras such as MAV Symphony of Budapest BM DUNA Orchestra, Moldova Radio and TV Symphony Orchestra, St Petersburg Chamber Philharmonic National Philharmonic of Kiev, Tirana Radio Orchestra.
Was a jury member in the 2009 Ella Philip International Piano Competition in Timisoara (Romania) and in the Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition in Athens.
Lectured in the 7th International Cultural Meeting "Duologue of Civilizations" in Rhodes. In 2010 gave a number of master classes in the UK.
In 2011 traveling to the UK and Romania for a series of master classes.
Artistic director of the Concert Theatre and Cohilia Festival in Limni Evoias in Greece.
Ο Γιώργος Κωνσταντίνου γιος του ηθοποιού Γιώργου Κωνσταντίνου και εγγονός του τενόρου Μιχάλη Κωνσταντίνου γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα το 1978.
Πήρε το δίπλωμα του με την ανώτατη διάκριση «Αριστείο Εξαιρετικής Ιδιοφυίας» από το Εθνικό Ωδείο στην τάξη του Αλέξη Μιρόσνικοφ και κατόπιν συνέχισε και ολοκλήρωσε τις σπουδές του στην Βουδαπέστη παίρνοντας Master από την Ανωτάτη Μουσική Ακαδημία Ferenc Liszt με τους G. Nador , A. Kemenes και F.Rados.
Το 1993 κέρδισε το πρώτο βραβείο στον Πανελλήνιο Διαγωνισμό της Χ.Ο.Ν και λίγα χρόνια αργότερα το δεύτερο πανευρωπαϊκό στον διαγωνισμό Reggio Calabria στην Ιταλία.
Έχει δώσει ρεσιτάλ και έχει συμπράξει με ορχήστρες του εξωτερικού σε πόλεις όπως Βουκουρέστι, Τιμισοάρα, Τίρανα, Βουδαπέστη, Πράγα, Αγία Πετρούπολη, Κίεβο, Κισινάου, Ρώμη, Βενετία, Λονδίνο, Οξφόρδη κ.α.
Έχει συντελέσει μέλος κριτικής επιτροπής 2 παγκόσμιων διαγωνισμών Πιάνου (Gina Bachauer στην Αθήνα και Ella Philip στη Ρουμανία). Το 2009 συμμετείχε στο 7ο Διεθνές Πολιτιστικό Συμπόσιο στην Ρόδο: «Διάλογοι των Πολιτισμών» όντας ένας απ’ τους νεότερους ομιλητές. Το 2011 θα εμφανιστεί σε μια σειρά ρεσιτάλ και master class στην Αγγλία και Ρουμανία.
Είναι ο καλλιτεχνικός διευθυντής του θεάτρου Concert και του Διεθνούς Φεστιβάλ Μουσικής και Τεχνών Cohilia στην Λίμνη Β. Εύβοια.

Slavi Dimitrov was born on September 14, 1972 in Momchilgrad. Graduated High School of Mathematics in Shumen. There studying piano with renowned pedagogue Rosica Mihailova. Ends experimental class in composition at the Odessa Conservatory with Professor Georgy Uspensky. Then studied at the State Academy of Music “Professor P. Vladigerov”. Ends two majors - Choral Conducting (1995) with Professor Krum Maximov and Opera and orchestral conducting (1998) with Prof. Dr. Ivan Bakalov and Prof. Ivan Vulype.
From 1992 to 1998 he was chief conductor of the Academic Choir "Angel Manolov" in the Student House - Sofia. From 1998 to January 2008 he was conductor of the State Philharmonic - Shumen. At that time works in Musical-Dramatic Theatre "K. Kisimov “- Veliko Tarnovo.
He is guest conductor of Simphony orchestras in Vidin, Sliven, Vratsa, Nis - Serbia, Thessaloniki - Greece, DMT “K. Kisimov” - Veliko Tarnovo, OFD - Varna. Give concerts in Europe with various Bulgarian orchestras. There are awards as conductor and composer.
He was a choral conductor of the National Opera and Ballet.
Founder of choir "Simeonis”.
Currently he is chief conductor at the National Opera - Ruse, conductor Sinfonietta - Shumen and artistic general-director of City Brass Band “Mikhail Bykov – Shumen”.
MIXED CHOIR RODNI ZVUTSI
DOBRI VOYNIKOV CHITALISHTE SHUMEN, BULGARIA
The choir Rodni Zvutsi at Dobri Voynikov Chitalishte ( cultural and community) was founded in 1898 . For its nearly 110- year creative work, the choir has established itself as one of the best choirs in the country; it has won prestigious at national and international festivals and competitions. The choir is a prize- winner of golden medals at National Choir Festivals; first prize- winner at the Bela Bartok International Choir Competition in the town of Debrecen, Hungary; silver award at the Guido d’Arezzo International Choir Competition in Camerino, Italy, ete. It has toured successfully in Germany, Italy, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Russia, Ukraine, Greece, Turkey, etc.
The choir repertoire consists of oratorios, cantatas, songs – some of these have been written specially for the choir. The choir repertoire comprises not only Bulgarian pieces but also works by foreign composers – pre-classic, classic, romanticism, as contemporary works.
The choir is a winner of the St. St. Cyril and Methodius Order, Medal for Merit to the Bulgarian People’ s Army, it has been awarded the Shumen Prize several times.
Prof. Veneta Vicheva has been an Art Director and Choir Master / Conductor since 1961. She has graduated from the National Musik Academy in Sofia, subject – Choir Conductorship. She is a lecturer in choir conductorship in Shumen University “ Episkop Konstantin Preslavski” – the university, which conferred the honorary title “ Doctor Honoris Cause” on her. She is a winner of the “Crystal Lyre” – the highest national award for musical art. Prof. Vicheva was awarded the title “An Honorary Citizen of Shumen”.
Ms. Zhaneta Katsarova has been a piano accompanist of the choir for many years. She has graduated from the Music and Dance Art Academy in Plovdiv, at present a lecturer in piano in Shumen University “ Episkop Konstantin Preslavski”. Ms. Katsarova is a winner of a distinguished prize of Shumen Minicipality – “Golden Badge”.

make up a piano duo which owns a complex repertoire dedicated to the four hands piano or two pianos ensemble, obtaining eulogistic chronicles in the specialty media in Romania and Germany. Their repertoire contains the creations of J. S. Bach, W. A. Mozart (all Work for Piano four hands and two pianos), Fr. Schubert, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Fr. Chopin, Fr. Liszt, R. Schumann, J. Brahms, A. Dvorak, Ed. Grieg, G. Faure, Cl. Debussy, E. Satie, M. Ravel, D. Milhaud, Fr. Poulenc, C. Silvestri, S. Rahmaninoff, B. Bartok, G. Kurtag, R. Georgescu, G. Enescu and D. Lipatti.The duo has recently performed in concert halls in Germany, Spain, Italy, Sweden, France, Hungaria, Serbia and Austria. In 1998 they recorded a CD with songs for the four hands piano by Schubert and Brahms for the Hungarian Videoton label and in 2006, a CD with Dances by Schumann, Brahms, Dvorak, Grieg and Silvestri (Show Factory, Romania, 2006) ans a CD with works from Schubert, Brahms & Rachmaninoff (Show Factory, Romania, 2008).

Manuela Iana – Mihăilescu
Ms. Mihăilescu is a graduate of the music school Ion Vidu, Timişoara, and of the Ciprian Porumbescu Conservatoire (National University of Music), Bucharest. Ms. Mihăilescu is currently piano professor at the Music Department of the West University in Timişoara. She is the recipient of numerous awards, among them: 1st prize at the 1983 Dinu Lipatti Competition, Bucharest; 1st prize at the Cantarea Romaniei Competition 1979, 1985, 1987, 1989 editions.
She specialized in the domain of interpretation at the Real Conservatorio de Musica in Madrid (Spain) by studying especially the Spanish piano music with the professor and pianist Guillermo Gonzales. She integrated the study and the interpretative experience of the pieces from the Iberia series by Isaac Albeniz into her doctoral thesis The Piano Technique Concerning the Impressionism in Music, as it Appears in the Solo Piano Works of Debussy, Ravel and Albeniz, completed at the Music University in Bucharest in November 2005, thus obtaining her PhD in music. In 2005 she published Suggestions of Approaching the Piano Works of C. Debussy, M. Ravel and I. Albeniz and Elements of Musical Language in the Piano Works of C. Debussy, for the West University Publishing House in Timişoara.
Ms. Mihăilescu appears frequently with the Philharmonic orchestras from Romania
(Timişoara, Arad, Oradea, Craiova, Constanţa). She is an active chamber musician and recitlaist, performing in the main musical centres of Romania, as well as abroad, in piano duo with Dragos Mihailescu in Germany, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Serbia, Spain, France, Austria, Hungaria.
Manuela Iana Mihăilescu was present as part of the jury at prestigious piano competitions such as the competitions in Jaen (2002, 2005) and Valencia – Jose Roca (2003), Spain.
She was invited to teach piano masterclass in Spain, Italy and Romania.
She has recorded 3 CDs with Dragos Mihailescu and for the Romanian National Television and Romanian Radio.
Manuela Iana-Mihailescu organized 3 editions of the Music festival Zilele Muzicii la Oravita (2008, 2009, 2010).
Dragoş Mihăilescu
Dragoş Mihăilescu studied the piano at the School of Music Ion Vidu Timişoara. Later he attended the Ciprian Porumbescu Conservatoire in Bucharest. Since his graduation in 1982, Mr. Mihăilescu has been an active pianist with the Banatul Philharmonic Orchestra, Timişoara, Romania. Starting with 1990 he has been teaching piano at the West University Music School, Timişoara, Romania. Among the many awards he obtained, we can mention: 1st prize at the 1981, 1983, 1985, 1987, 1989 editions of the national competition in Romania, as a soloist or in chamber \music ensembles. He was awarded the prize for the best interpretation of George Enescu’s third Romanian folk sonata at the national competition G. Dima (Cluj-Napoca), edition 1985.
Dragoş Mihăilescu asserted himself not only in the musical life of the country but also abroad, due to his manifold soloist activity, by performing recitals and concerts with the symphony orchestras of the important musical centres of the country such as Bucharest, Timişoara, Arad, Oradea, Craiova, Sibiu, Ploieşti, Satu-Mare and Târgu-Mureş. In 1991, he was the soloist with the Timişoara Philharmonic Orchestra while touring Spain. Mr. Mihăilescu is intensely preoccupied with chamber music. He performs frequently in Romania and in Italy, Bulgaria, Hungary and the former Soviet Union with cellist Alexandra Guţu, and together with his wife Manuela Iana – Mihăilescu, he plays two piano and four hands. The duo is in demand in Romania as well as in Germany, Spain, France, Austria and Sweden. Mr. Mihăilescu’s piano playing is often recorded and broadcasted for the Romanian National Television and Radio. Dragoş Mihăilescu was a jury member at the 1994 and 1995 editions from Braşov, Romania and at the second edition of the International Piano Competition Ella Philipp, Timisoara, Romania, 2008.
